Special Attack Tag Mini Guide

Special Attack appears on 3 perks (0 Survivor · 3 Killer). This tag mostly tracks execution windows: use it to sharpen one in-match action loop.

What This Tag Usually Means

  • Companion tags: Basic Attack, Special Attack, Chase, Cool-down
  • Killer-heavy pool: use perk value to force repeatable pressure loops, not one-off highlight plays.

Build Pattern To Run

  • Open with one dependable trigger, then add this tag for conversion instead of opening with four conditional perks.
  • If your activations collide, keep one trigger perk and free one slot for stability.
  • Play with Your Food: Losing your Obsession in a chase causes Play with Your Food to gain +1 Token , up to a maximum of 3 Tokens , and performing a Basic Attack or Special Attack with the potential to damage a Survivor causes it to lose -1 Token .

Roster Snapshot

  • Most frequent characters: Shape, Hag
  • Sample perks: Hex: The Third Seal, Play with Your Food, Save the Best for Last
  • Save the Best for Last: Damaging any Survivor other than the Obsession with a Basic Attack causes Save the Best for Last to gain +1 Token , up to a maximum of 6 / 7 / 8 Tokens .

KillerShape

Damaging non-Obsession Survivors with basic attacks builds Tokens, while damaging the Obsession consumes Tokens. Tokens reduce the cooldown on successful basic attacks until the Obsession is sacrificed or killed.
